NemeriX is a Swiss company, financed by venture capital funding, providing the world’s lowest power GPS solutions. NemeriX develops RF devices, GPS modules, baseband devices with embedded CPU and software solutions. At the time, NemeriX was in a start-up phase and under intense pressure to develop its initial product portfolio. This was a critical development period in which NemeriX had to achieve a difficult set of milestones that they had agreed with their investors. The attainment of these crucial development targets was essential for timely market entry. Paul Ovington program managed a large suite of projects for NemeriX. This entailed the detailed planning, tracking, and coordination of about 10 projects, utilising engineering resources predominantly in Switzerland, but also in the US, UK, and Italy. Paul established a structured and hierarchical plan of all projects, giving corporate management and the investors a correct and real time picture of development status and forecasts. Paul reported to the two NemeriX Heads of Technology on planning and issue resolution on a daily basis. OXMS used their considerable experience within the hi-tech development area to give technical and project guidance on a wide spectrum of issues. The planning and coordination support allowed the two Heads of Technology to focus more on critical design and technical issues, while learning some important techniques of project management. OXMS helped NemeriX maintain extremely aggressive development schedules. NemeriX is completely satisfied with the support given by OXMS, and intends to use its services in the future. |
